He is ok. He posted a WTB thread in the junkyard looking for an Iron Man piece to replace one lost in the tornado.
He posted photos of the collection as it stood AFTER the storm.... It was jaw-dropping. It was a total loss. That shot of his living room with all the Iron Man suits.... Just leveled. Nothing left intact. The tornado demolished it all and it really just makes you feel for him. I know the passion we all put into collecting, and for the entire collection and house to be gone in seconds.... I cannot even imagine.

Thank you all for the kind and thoughtful comments.

We are waiting on our new home to be finished and I've already amassed a decent "lifesized" collection for the upcoming "game room & home theater"... Things are looking up and we are doing well. It's been an interesting year, to say the least.

that had to be devestating to see all your work strewn about the town.. i bet people freaked out seeing loose heads of actors scattered about the rubbles

Can I just ask. what do you use to paint the human faces? I have a tony stark face here which I need to paint. is it best to use air brush? or is there a special technique that people use? also can you recommend the type of paint used (if it's paint) I am new to painting hunman face cast. it's resin cast btw

@ ep82- For my painted human faces, I use acrylic paints and brushes. After I hand-paint the skin, I apply a mix of matte and gloss Mod-Podge. You have to experiment with the mix to get it just right as I've found if it's too glossy it looks looks like porcelain or ceramic and if it's too matte it looks like dry plaster. So, to get that "real" lifelike skin sheen, I mix the two types together.
That said, the best looking skin that I've seen here in the forums has been airbrushed, which is something I've never tried. I hope to try in the near future.

TRULY TRULY ASTONISHING it all looked in its prime

PLEASE tell us that you had some kinda insurance on it, I know it can never replace the memories and the exact items, and blood, sweat and tears,
but the money might help replace some of the pieces

What for me was the ICING ON THE CAKE, was not that you not only had a TRULY ASTOUNDING COLLECTION, But the way you also displayed it all
---- you are an amazingly creative guy !!!!!

Having read all the posts on this thread, the one which best summed the collection up, and what you did with it, was when someone said that what you actually had was a " Museum "

Wish you all the best man, and also love your paintings --- definitely I feel I wanna commission something from you
