What kind of mounting system did you use for that?

Very nicely done. I can see that you sprayed the gunmetal instead of brush painting. What did you use for lenses?

Hi the mounting system is based on the original ANH which used 3 pairs 3M interlocking snap connectors used in apple plus II computers I also added a 20x3mm Neodymium disc magnet under the face mask and on the inside of the helmet to help line up the front and add stability i also put a self adesive felt pad on the
magnet on the inside of the helmet so it will not damage the paint finish

I used Lenseman Amber Lenses in the pictures above but have changed them for red which i think looks
better i will take some more photos over the weekend

Yea, very nice. I'd like to see some better pics of the mounting stuff in the helmet, and even the magnets. Sounds interesting.

slick lid. i've never been much a fan of the sprayed gunmetal on ANH's, but you've made it look pretty freakin nice.
