No lights or sound as yet. I am currently saving pennies for that lot. Hopefully won't be too long.
I had a few stressful moments on the build, After finishing sanding and prep work I noticed several bubbles within the fibreglass so had to repair that lot. Not a massive headache but a pain when you think your ready for paint.
I also had issues with the attachment of the injector tubes and hga. I filled both parts with resin and drilled holes to inset bolt heads and glue them in with the intention of being able to attach the bolts with nuts.
Sadly both parts mentioned above needed to be redone about 4 times. I hadn't used strong enough glue, then I didn't get the epoxy mix right so when attaching the bolts would come out.
Finally I got round it by locating an epoxy that mixed as it was being squeezed out.
Most happy with the weathering and the ribbon cable. The weathering I had asked the wife to do as she is an artist, but I decided to give it a go using a silver sharpie of all things and it worked a treat. Also used fullers earth to dim the paint down a little.
The ribbon cable was made by a guy on gbfans and he made a quality product!

Some upgrades:
Labels added, these things are very nice, purchased from GBfans Carpeteria.
I also couldn't help myself and mounted my dimensional fabs V Hook.
I know my wires going to the straights arn't connected. I have ordered some new red tubing from Phish4dinner on gbfans also as the straights I have contain a small rod on the inside that the wire will not fit into very well.
It's coming together.

There is, however I like it how it is at the moment, I also have the problem that some of it split quite badly on the original twisting so I am a little reluctant to try again.
I do want to tighten it at some point soon that being said.
Any suggestions on the splits gratefully received.

Well, if that cable is from MadeinSocal on Gb Fans I know what you mean about the splitting. Did you get a chance to see my thread there on my pack? I literally redid it about 4-5 times. That being said it split in pretty much everyplace possible. The thing is, once its tightened it hides the splits. The only place it really matters at that point is the bottom few inches that show by the clamp near the Cyclotron.

I did see your build...very nice too. Yep it is a madeinsocal. I did think perhaps the splits might help a little. It's just the fear of it getting worse.
Did you reheat each time?
