Hey guys
OK my first foray into props.
I bought one of Offwords M2019 blasters off the bay, and was pretty dismayed with the quality, bad fitment, awful paint, wrong paint even lol!
So i stripped the whole thing down and removed the paint with wire wool for a start.
I used matt black rattle cans for the main parts, these were all coated with three spurts of dullcote to protect.
The main gun chassis was a pig to look like metal, so i just used an alloy rattle can, it looks OK to my eye.
All the moving parts still work well and ive even fixed the wobbly awful trigger guard solid, but im not carving up the paint by moving them too much, all i will do is fit the shells when i get them as the cylinder still swings well.
Overall, im now way happier with how it looks, two days work in all and it now looks like a blaster of a more expensive brand.
May not be up to scratch for the pro's in this field, but im pretty stoked how it all came together!
