Go easy on me guys this is my first display since I've been a member.
Its from the film "The Prestige" and its a copy of the coin in the scene with Christian Bale and the young lad that's his wife to be's nephew.
Let me know what you guys think sorry about the flash on the glass

My guess would be an 1887 Victorian Jubilee Double Florin or a Crown, can't tell without seeing the other side of the coin.
A nice way to start and well presented. Nice one!

the coin I used was a 1889 Queen Victoria British Silver Crown Coin but its a crown from the Victoria era of 1837-1901
There widely available on eBay

Thanks for the positive response guys

Nice coin but is it double headed like the one n the movie?
You could make this truly a great display with some handcuffs from the correct era or the little reddy pink rubber ball.

Cool display. I might have to get one of those coins. Prestige is my second favorite Nolan film after Inception.

I think maybe the frame is a little large for the display. Try a smaller frame so there is less empty space around the coin. Other than that, a very original display idea.

Nice to know its liked.. not just by me

Nope it's not double headed wish it was :(, Was thinking of casting it double headed but not sure on how that's done.. If you can find a red rubber ball let me know, I've searched everywhere and can't really find the right one! But thanks for the feedback

I thought it was too big a frame too when I do my next display I will use this frame and replace it with a small one I think!
