My First Cosplay Build of The Witch King

Hello everyone,

I have started to build a cosplay build after deciding for a while I have decided to build the Witch King from Lord of the Rings.

I have started the helm with pics as follows:

This is the Top of the helm.

This is the bottom of the helm.

Top meets the bottom without the bend.

Top meets the bottom opened up.

This shows the side detail along with the age marks.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Looking good! I'm planning on this as my next project after I finish a Buzz Lightyear build and a wrap up of a Proton Pack that's been on the shelf for a year

do you have gauntlet templates?

Unfortunatly I have been making everything by eye from pictures from the movie and a few websites. There isnt a template that I have found that fits. Sorry

If you want you can try these.

I created them just a few weeks ago after a lot of trial and error.
used dozens of screen shots for reference.

they should be printed on 11 x 17 at 100%

I have to say, that hand looks pretty nice! Are you going to fiberglass it, because those edges are going to be difficult to do!

No. I'm either going to do it in 22 gauge steel. Or I may do it in 2mm Styrene/sintra

Ah, I do like the idea of steel, it would look quite nice when it gets polished, but how about aluminum?

The Gauntlets that I am making are going to be made out of construction paper that has been hardened into the shape using a hardener. I have started to cut all the peices out. I will be posting pictures as soon as I can get them done. I thought about making them out of aluminum but I am trying to do this on a budget as a whole (yes I was told it cant be done, and i took the challenge).

I am using the Knuckles from your design, I have made the whole thing except the knuckles. Yours is a whole lot better than mine was.
