My Custom Made Thermal Detonator

I wasn't very happy with the thermal detonator parts that came with my AP Stormtrooper Armor. So I decided to make my own.

Here's My finished piece:

Parts were made out of some 3.5" acrylic tubing, styrene sheets, a few washers, and some allergy tablets. I also used a hot glue gun, plastic weld, and modeling clay to build the templates. I then casted them with silicone rubber, and made molds out of some Grey Kwik Kast (plastic resin). After that I build a small 8"x8" vacuum forming box, and made the finished pieces out of .90" HIPS. A 1st attempt at vacuum forming the control panel. I didn't heat the plastic enough, but it looked pretty good to me.

These are the belts clips for the canister. The inward curve really kept it snug on the belt.
