My Celtic helm just arrived

Just came in today the odd thing is, I have never seen the connection for the LED lights. I bought it off someone in the UK so maybe it's European? Any info on what type of battery is needed would be helpful

I've never seen a battery connection just like that. Might work with some kind of watch battery or something similar? Cool bio though!

Got a message back from the person I bought it from...says its a 8V calculator-use thin battery...now to find that.

I couldn't find a CR1816 3v but I used a DL2016/CR2016 3v and it works. Thanks again ei'luj for finding it in the forums for me.

I must give credit to Pepito, he dug thru his stash of batteries and tried them and found that one....thats his quote about the 'SUCCESS and the battery number.

I did a google on "TI-85 screen battery" and it yielded this goldmine, may come in handy for other oddball batteries:

Despite the name "interstate batteries" they don't carry just car batteries.....
