Hi folks,

well, not too much to see, and the Amidalas in the pic sure are a distraction, but here´s old me in my Captain T. getup at CE.

Still a lot to do, I´ll have to rework almost everything on that costume, since it is far from accurate except for the helmet (Adam, love that helmet ! As does Jay ;) ). But hey, still fun to wear, and it actually goes well with the Typho Blaster ;)

And here is a Neimoidian Infanterist aka "Lightsaber fodder" as seen in EP3 in the Lava (?) control room.

Done by a fellow German costumer, and you won´t believe it, but there is a girl under that ugly mask ;) The reason I post this is that this is the only EP3 costume that I had planned to tackle as a costuming project. Maybe I will do so in the future, since it is a really interesting design.

HEY...I know this guy!!!! ;)

great pic of you, guarded by the two ladies.

i know the girl who did the neimoidian

she did it all 100% by hand even the armor helmet jumpsuite

it was a damn shame that she was not allowed to take part in the costume contest at CE

but CE was a show for it self ( well steve and uncle Gs pocket )

Great pic. :) What did you use for the shinguards?

Thanks !

I slapped two 3mm sheets of sintra together. I had initally planned to make one master shinguard out of sintra and then do fg casts of the master, but as usual, time ran out and I just made both the same way. I plan on redoing them, using one as a master. The less ugly one. No,sorry, no close up pics, the uglyness of the finish is just too... well... hard on the eyes ? There is nothing like last minute work ;)

The bracers are essentially done the same way, sheets of sintra thermo bent using a heat gun. I then put some electro cable on the finished bracers to form the ridges. Again, just a temporary solution (has been for the last three years) that I plan to replace with fg ones. When I find the time to do some scuplting work to make new masters, that is ;)

Thanks for the info! I need to make a new pair for my Battle Padme--the ones I have now are craft foam and while I'm really pleased with the way they look, I'm always nervous traveling with them because I'm afraid they'll get crushed.
