My Breaking Bad replica "Blue Sky Meth"

Warning, tiny spoiler:
Anyone familiar with the show knows that during season one, as an alternative to pseudoefedrine, Walt and Jesse steal a barrel of methylamine. The different chemical process yields a light blue drug that is "every bit as pure".

When I found out that the prop "meth" on the show was just rock candy, I thought "what could be easier!"
Although it wasn't that difficult, I don't like waiting, so the four weeks of crystallization was very difficult for me.

BUT it was worth it. Anyone unfamiliar with the show should check it out, it is one of the best shows on television.

Favorite show of all time - there was a funny interview with Bryan Cranston talking about Jessie eating the meth between takes but then he tried it too - and it was really good so they eat it all the time now, LOL.

The Characters name was Combo. He was one of Jesse's drug dealer friends. It was pretty fun I was able to meet Aaron Paul who was realy cool.

I don't think it would be a big deal because real meth isn't blue, it was something they came up with for the show. I remember reading a story about someone who had visited the set, they were given some of the rock candy and when he was going through airport security they were more concerned about his contact solution bottle.

Plus they could always taste it. I'm pretty sure meth doesn't taste like sugar lol. The only problem is keeping moisture out so it doesn't slowly get gooey.

Maybe if a blue food dye was added to it then you would have blue meth.
