My attept at a Graflex

It recently dawned on me that the Graflex has persisted through three generations of films and was the weapon for three notable Jedi. I thought I should probably have one in my collection, so I decided to try my hand at building one. I did purchase a replica clamp, glass eye, and t - track to help sell the look. I had never been successful at a hardware store saber. Between apprehensions and more mistakes than I can count, I think this thing came out rather well.

I have dubbed this saber the Ghettoflex. Members of a Saber group on Facebook came up with it. lol

Cool. In spite of the availability of 3-D printing and accurate replicas, there's been a veritable renaissance of hardware Graflex builds. I like it.

Excellent!
I tried this years ago with a piece of stainless steel pipe, but the stainless proved too difficult to work with, so I gave it up :(.
Yours looks GREAT! :thumbsup

Damn that reminds me of the old days! Wicked vintage style man!

Beautiful! Much better than my ultra-crappy sink tube build I made years ago. Looks pretty legit. The Graflex clamp and the age/wear you put on it really make it. Rivets on the rubber grip fins for ESB goodness. Very well done!
