I collect Star Wars and LOTR but seeing this brings back memories of my teen years.
This was my favourite movie before Lord of the Rings came out.
Congrats to your wife for doing that I am green with envy.

hi there, i saw your sword by chance a few days ago & promptly ordered 1 for myself to add to my marto edition signed christopher lambert katana, can you tell me how many swords are in this limited edition?, the sword i have ordered from uniquities has the saya & the blade signed by the man himself, is your blade signed ?, many thanks

Mine is only signed on the Saya.

With regards to how many were produced, I'm not sure - but I would love to know :)

Congrats on your purchase - Uniquities was the place where my wife ordered mine from :)

So you will get the awesome photo and certificate of authenticity as well :)
 
thanks, i check parcelforce everyday to track the progress of my sword lol, it seems we both have "Holy Grails" of things wanted since childhood, mine consists of mark hamill signed edition empire strikes back lightsaber, darth vader empire lightsaber, obi wan a new hope saber & last but not least a complete set of screen accurate daggers from the original omen movie, i try not to handle them very often because something untoward always happens without fail, maybe its a sign to get rid lol.
 
Very awesome. Love HIGHLANDER and that sword. Ponied up for one of the old, non-signed versions back when they first came out.

Defiantly fulfilling childhood dreams.

I remember when i saw Highlander for the first time, I was 14/15 years old - I tried making a replica out of foam board, large sticks from the forest - all sorts :p

Same with the pulse rifle, had a cardboard one.
 
I have one with a pretty reconizable signeture... Randy jackson from american idol. I bumped in to him and all i had on me was this sword and you're not , not going to get Randy jackson's autograph. Right?
hahaha Just kidding. Amazing gift!!!!
 
That is a lovely sword; I don't collect them but I did buy my two sons the replica kitana's from the G.I. Joe movie. Great piece you have there :)

Hi Aaron, i just received an email back from uniquities regarding the size of the edition numbers regarding the signed versions, it appears he only signed 20 swords with 1 signature on the saya like yours, of which they have 10 left, & he signed only 5 with dual signatures on the saya & the blade like mine, united cultery no longer make this sword so they are indeed a collectors item even more so due to the very limited signed versions :)

Dead chuffed for you mate - I've wanted this sword ever since I saw the movie when I was 14 years old.

Certain movies define my childhood - and Highlander is up there as one of my most beloved. And as I've said before the fact that it has been held by and signed by the man himself brings a smile to my face every time I look up at it on the wall.
 
Can you tell me where it was bought, because I've searched for it recently and they are "out of stock" everywhere :(

The UC sword is out of production now - and is becoming quite hard to get hold of.
