Hi All

So my wife bought me an extra special present for my 30th this year :)
To say I'm stoked is an understatement.

I present to you my United Cutlery Highlander Katana - Signed by Christopher Lambert himself :D

This baby finally completes my 'Holy Grail' Collection - items I have wanted since childhood - these are

Bladerunner Blaster
ICONS - Skywalker Lightsaber
Pulse Rifle
and now - Connor's Katana :)

The fact that it is signed, and has been held my the Highlander himself is a massive buzz to me :D I'm so happy right now. Anyhow - I hope you enjoy the photos :)

Oh that is a fantastic gift you are a very lucky man that you have a woman who gets you such an amazing present. she is a keeper.

Well done sir on both counts

Congrats and Happy birthday. I have two of those katana myself and I love them. My aren't signed though. Very cool gift! :thumbsup

Avolow.

Man, that is awesome! Do my eyes deceive me, or does that head look like the part II sculpt?

If I'm not mistaken - from what I have read, and certainly from what is stated on the swords packaging - this is an idealised version, taking elements from all 3 movies.

In my eyes, in certainly looks like they took more from the H2 version - And that's fine with me, because that version was my favourite :D

Now, are you going to go the extra step to make it more authentic, and snap the dragon head off the end? :eek

Great present, great wife lol i actually make highlander swords and my wife doesnt really want them in the house haha

and only 1 of the swords used in the film had the head broke off... just a tidbit of info before you want to break off that head lol

You are correct, sir. I have a casting of the 1st movie handle and I gotta tell you, it ain't pretty! Yours is much more attractive and what most people who admire it would expect.
Well done. It's a beautiful sword. :thumbsup

Thanks mate :)

And thank you all for your kind remarks - I couldn't be happier with it :)

My wife is 1 in a million - she knows how many times I've had to postpone getting this sword in order to pay for more important, real life needs. So to receive it for my 30th, and for it to be signed is utterly incredible.

I've ordered a nice wall hanging stand from the states which should arrive in a few days - I'll update this post with pics when I get it.

I may even put up a few pics of my other pieces :D
