Here are some pictures with the landing gear deployed...A couple things I would like to mention. First, the lighting. Personally I think Bandai nailed the lighting. The lighting in the cockpit was subtle in the first film(1977), Not the pin ball machine lights of Empire. Also I had no problem with the decal application or the fit of the cockpit.

So is it fairly easy to swap out the landing gear for the in flight version and vice versa?

Yes Indeed! I also added the "glass canopy"...In the landing configuration it looks better with actual glass up there!

How did you get the shot looking down the open ramp? Is that one of those "snake" cams or something or did you do that before putting the top on or after taking it off
