MSP ComiCon and Minne Faire May 2016 - Minnesota

For the last 10 years, the Minnesota prop dudes and dudettes have been doing Propatoriums (prop displays) at local cons. We just had our 10th Marscon Propatorium last month. We've also done Fallcon, SpringCon, Crypticon, and Minne Faire.

The Propatorium will be returning to MSP ComiCon (formerly SpringCon) on May 14 & 15 in the Grandstand at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. http://www.mcbacomicons.com/#!blank/cgbd

The following weekend, May 21 & 22, we'll be at Twin Cities Maker's 7th annual Minne Faire at the Hack Factory in south Minneapolis. http://www.tcmaker.org/blog/2016/04/minne-faire-2016-may-21-22-12pm-6pm

MSP ComiCon is a great comic book convention, loads of artists, writers, dealers, art auction and plenty of things to see. Minne Faire was started before Make magazine's Mini Maker Faire got into town, but it's a similar (if smaller) event. Lots of interesting and unique creations and interactive events, plus a party with a couple bands Saturday night. Plus, Minne Faire is free!

Oh, excellent! I didn't even know the Minne Faire was a thing. We can't make it to MSP Comic Con this year, so we'll definitely try to make it to that one!
