Moon Knight (Carbonium edition)

Hi folks,

Every year that comes and goes I tell everyone that next year I'm going as Boba Fett for Halloween. But I decided to pursue one of my favorite Marvel characters next year - Moon Knight.

I became a bit more inspired after watching this instructional video on how make the Dark Knight suit. I would like to make the carbonium armor version of Moon Knights suit. There are several problems that I'm going to have in making this suit.

Materials for armor

I'm going to need sculpting clay, plaster, resins, etc. Is there a good source/website for these materials. What other materials will I need?

Mesh suit

I have been looking for a mesh suit, a white version of the one in Kevin Steven's instructional video, but I can't find one. It seems that what I'm going to have to do is order some white spacer mesh and make my own. Are there any sites online that I can buy a premade 3-D spacer mesh suit, or something similar? Lycra or spandex isn't going to work for what I want, unless I wear a lycra/spandex suit under the mesh suit.

Costs

This project is going to be very time consuming, but how much is this project likely to cost me?

Cape

What material makes a really good cape? I don't want it too heavy because I'd like it to be flowy (if that's a word). I'm going to need it to fit snuggly over a mask that I intend on making out of some sort of material like a thick RTV.

If this version doesn't work, the only other option I have to make this happen is by going for a suit that is closer to this. I refuse to go for the lycra/spandex suit.

Help, tips, questions?

Could get expensive. I am thinking 250 bucks or more. Can find decent prices on your resins, clay etc... on amazon or ebay. Or go to retailmenot and get the 40 percent off one item coupon for the more expensive stuff and get at hobbylobby or michaels. Can usually always get those 40 percent off coupons. Can use multiple ones but just pay on different card or use cash. Helps alot on prices.
