MonsterMakers mask kit? Is it good, worth it, etc...

Well, for a while now I've been considering sculpting my own mask instead of purchasing one.
I saw this kit from MONSTER MAKERS that, as decribed, brings all of the supplies required to pump out to masks.

I can push clay around so I was thinking that instead of paying between $500 to $800 I could probably sculpt my own for a fraction of the price.
However, I have several questions regarding this alternative.

1st, is this MM kit any good and/or have any of you purchased it or recommended?
2nd, would I be able to use the same molds to make a resin copy, or would I have to use different molding materials or steps?

I mostly want to make a display bust (that's why I'm interested in the resin). I've been told that the latex tends to break down over time and for display pieces resin is the best option.
I have experience with 1/6 to 1/4 scale figures but have never tackled anything lifesize.
Is it worth the effort and from experience, would it save me money or should I just stick to buying something already done.

I'm confused.

Thats is a great starters kit. Resin busts are casted in silicone. You can make a thin mold with the ultra cal and cast resin inside and break the mold to get it out. You can only get one copy that way.

I would get the basic kit and buy 2 pint kit of dragon skin to make my silicone mold.(cures in 20 min) and make a plaster mother.
