mk42 pdo files , and new ironman mk42 build for my now 10 year old

Hi guys , did ironman for my son last year for halloween freehand , now im giving it a go with pepakura for foam. My research had me looking in every nook and cranny for pdo files on mk 42, so I figured to make things easier for everyone id post everything i found here.

The neck seal, and hand files are mk 4 , but the neck seal and hands didnt really change all that much so im using and posting em as mk42, it may be wrong but its close enough for noone to notice. Also I changed the files a bit removing all the paper bits you wont need for foam, hope this helps everyone out , and credits go to helgak ,jakieisrockin, gimpee and zabana, for the actual file unfolds and such.

I will post more updates as my build progresses but for now heres the files...enjoy

uhmmm . . .have you modified the unfold i made for helagak's model?

all i did to em was remove the not needed bits on the files i downloaded for foam, but essentially yes, im not trying to claim credit for this stuff just wanted to make it easier for people to find this stuff all in one place.

Built the helm and mk 4 arc reactor today next is the neck seal then the chest /back.

Chest is done, so is the back , now on other things

my hands are numb in places due to hot glue burns but i got alot done tonight

Arms are good to go now , I plan to plastic coat the foam to harden it , and i shouldnt need much bondo at the end on most of the suit. Now on to other parts....

I did the plastic coating suggested by xrobots.co.uk . it works very well in fact. I didnt use smoothon though, i found some for a whole lot cheaper at monstermakers.com called monstercast, roughly half the price on smoothon. It has a very fast cure time though, 2minutes so have to make and use it in small doses.

i apologize for the off kitler pics , i hate windows 8. Ok i had to remake the helm i think it came out great this time, I know alot of you werent saying it sucked to be nice, but even I knew the last one i did sucked, so i remade it and i think its perfect. Please let me know what u guys think.
