Mission Impossible Portfolio

I received the Mission Impossible 1st Season DVD Set for Christmas and had forgotten how good this show was, has anyone here tackled the Black Portfolio where the Agents Photos were kept, the one with the Impossible Missions Force or IMF stamped on it?

I think this is a great prop and would love to know if it has been done before by anyone?

This is my favorite show of all time and I was so excited when the DVD was finally released.. I didn't do ANYTHING for a week just so I could watch all the episodes. Can't wait for March when season #2 is released

Anyway - I have the portfolio all researched and screen capped and just about ready to put it all together :D

Sounds Great, can't wait to see it.... :) Are you going to shoot for trying to reproduce the pics/bios of the actors that go inside also? That would be a project in itself I imagine.

Oh cool, a few other IMF agents :lol
This show got me into makeup as a kid...

Yeah, I love that finally they're released on DVD...
I've wanted to show them to my son...
The originals are so much better than the movies.

My 1st season DVD set is on the way from Amazon right now. What a great series... and what a great idea for a paper prop: the IMF Portfolio. Looking forward to seeing some of these in show-off threads soon. :)

20 years ago, when I was living in L.A., I had a brush with IMF Greatness. I was shopping at a Ralph's in the Valley when Peter Lupus, pushing a grocery cart, wearing elegant wire-rimmed glasses, and looking as huge as ever, emerged from the end of an aisle just a few meters from me. To my surprise, he looked square at me, turned his cart in my direction, and approached.

Then he uttered the immortal words I will never forget:

"Where's the crackers?"

True story. :p

Sounds like spy-speak to me. He was probably "on the job" and though you were Leonard Nimoy in makeup. I hope you directed him to the two-way wireless cantaloupe. :D

I recently heard that Lupus used to work for DC Comics doing personal appearances as Superman, until he did a Playgirl layout. Oops. :angel

He made out okay, though :$

Man, I was hoping for more interest in getting this project going....I have tried to determine if this was a "Found" piece which I am assuming it was, but have not turned up anything close.

Anyone here have the capabilities of catching a few screen grabs of the case?

Just watched an episode on the tv this afternoon and then went on an internet hunt...

...and found this site loads of info and pictures of the dossier pages to, I guess screen grabs. Mission Impossible Force Members

Might help if your trying to make up some of the clear sleeve dossier pages.
