^ Something's missing here.

Anyone up for making one? Could sell very well, given the numbers of the RC38 that have sold. :)

Cappage...

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

I would buy two of them if someone would make them!!
Probably about the size of a U.S. nickle?

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

Definitely too big.

Try one the size of those Micro Machines that came out 8 years back...

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

Not sure, but I think it would be close... it's the one that came out from Galoob... about an inch in diameter, shorter than the blockade runner that comes with Randy's kit which seems to be the correct scale...

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

This is an opportunity for someone to make one and cast it up for sale. It would sell a fair few I bet.

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

I have a lead MF that was sold with a scaled Slave 1. The Falcon measures 2-2.5 inches, has landing gear and radar dish. The details are nice. I picked it up years ago from a Star Trek Con/Swap meet.
The slave 1 maybe measures 3/4 of an inch.

I will post pictures in a few days.

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

can you measure your sd and work out roughly the size needed?

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

Judging by the cap, I reckon the Falcon's disc needs to be 20mm in diameter.

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

My galloob MF's been waiting ages for a star destroyer in the right scale to fit it:lol.....just measured it...35mm diameter. Is that too big ?

Phil..

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD

You should use magnets on the inside of the SD conning tower and glued to the bottom of the the falcon to make it stick and easily removable!

"...If you want something done, do it yourself..."

Mmmk.

This isn't isn't going to break the 'world's most accurate Falcon' contest but here goes.

This is all hand-whittled, cut n' drilled from plastic. No jigs, vices, lathes and all done with the Mark I eyeball...

Damn Mark!
That looks cool! But it needs to be a little thickerer in the middle dont you think?
I reckon i need to get off of my lazy ass and make one too.

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD - Speedbuild™

Building up the height with modelling clay (Milliput).

This is just the underside and won't be seen so it's rough as hell. Little reference available too.

Re: Millennium Falcon for SD - Speedbuild™
