MIG-29's Mid-Air Collision at RAF Fairford in 1993

Here are my parts from these aircraft that i've managed to aquire.....









This is the outboard section of a right wing flap



This is a large part. Its the outboard section of a left wing flap


In the following photos, i think the left wing flap section above can be seen coming off:

I remember that crash! That was a heck of an impact and it nearly sliced the one aircraft in two!
 
Its hard to see in the photo, but there are uniform rows of little dents running along this flap section and each one of the dents are pretty much identical to each other:



For a little while i was a bit baffled by the rows of dents, but then it became clear what caused them......






















....




This was also further evidence that the part falling off in the photos in my first post is this flap section, as it fell to earth on its own, unattched from the aircraft.
