Miami Vice ID cards or badges

Hi everyone,
new to the board, from the land down under and enjoying everything about what you guys and gals do and how you do it. I have been collecting prop replicas for a short time only so I'm still a little wet behind the ears, but I'm slowly getting there and have a few things. I was wondering if anyone has made or has any replica badges or ID cards from Miami Vice, either the tv series or the movie. I know it's probably not the ultimate collectible but if anyone has any I'de sure love to see em.

there were multiple versions over the years of the id's. Wished they would get their buts in gear and get the rest of the seasons out on dvd.

NIC Law Enforcement supply offers both a silver and gold Dade County badge. In the series, Crockett (Don Johnson) had a gold badge and Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) had a silver one.

I bought the gold one for my Sonny Crockett display and it's AWESOME. Nice heavweight, metal badge with a full-color inset in the center. Shipping was pretty fast too. One problem: If you live in Florida, you can't buy these badges. You also have to agree to their terms, which involves (IIRC) acknowledging that you understand the law regarding replica badges (basically, it's legal to own one if it's in a personal collection or used for theatrical purposes). They also require an adult signature on delivery.

Thanks everybody for the welcome and info. I looked on the id site and saw there id's and they look pretty good. If it's at all possible I will attempt to post some pics of my small vice collection.

This is all I really have so far and I have put it together and tried to replicate , as close as possible, crocketts and tubb's ID's, both pilot episode and the following season. The badge is one from the badge collecting shop you guys mentioned and is awesome. The rest is all replicas I put together.

Sorry guys just learnt how to post pics so I thought Id'e chuck in just 2 pics of my prop room so far. It's not much but it's growing. So far I got an original Eaves Brooks spidey suit from the tv show back in the 70's and another new style movie costume which was made by a awesome costume maker from around here. The Hero helmet is an AP which I purchased from a guy on the board.
