MGS5 The Phantom Pain Sneaking Suit

Hey guys, this is my first post. I'm currently working on making a sneaking suit from mgs5 tpp. I took screenshots from the game and did my best to draw them out (obviously I'm not the best artist in the world) but my basic ideas are:

- Vinyl as the main material
- Different thicknesses of foam for the "puffy" parts
- Basic army accessories

I already have combat boots, green combat belt, and a green gun holster for my leg. Any ideas or comments you guys have are helpful, thank you very much.

I tried to keep most of the suit in different parts so I would know what parts to make separately first and then put them together

lol at horribleness nice word you have good referance material in the screen shots so you should be able to duplicate the suit

UPDATE

So I went though all the accessories I had previously bought when I dressed up as Big Boss for Halloween (camo version) and anything i bough online I'll put a link to it.



So here is the gun holster, used with a basic green combat belt I bought at the military store (I live in Calgary, Alberta) and for the actual holster i used 2 different gun holsters. The one I have on is from amazon and the straps i used is from another gun holster I bought from the military store as well. If anyone knows any other good gun holster that would be better let me know



These are tactical suspenders they are what Snake has on his shoulders I had to make a few edits the first one was that I had to cut the front buckle off, the second was making the front straps to get the same look as the ones snake wears. I also bough these off of amazon they're called Blackhawk tactical suspenders. Link at the bottom.



Finally here are my combat boots, I got them when I was in cadets. I don't know if i should use these or go the extra mile and try to make my own, don't think it will super extremely hard making them but still a decent challenge.

NOTE- The tactical suspenders DO NOT come with a belt even though its in the picture. But you wont even need a belt for them anyway

Now the fun begins. I found a store here in Calgary that sells thick vinyl and foam so I'll post another update when I buy it (it's Sunday today and they are closed so I'll go tomorrow)

UPDATE

So i just got back from the fabric store and they have these huge foam sheets for sale... unfortunately they did not have any good fabrics so if anyone knows any good fabrics for the suit let me know anyway here is what the foam looks like, I'll start cutting it up and making it into the pieces I need.

Nice progress! I just finished my version of the TPP Sneaking Suit for Comikaze on Halloween, with a few upgrades (improved bionic arm, cardboard box, more accurate wig and beard) for a recent cosplay picnic a few weeks after.
