Not sure if this would be of interest to anyone, but this company has vac-formable metal & woodgrain patterned material, appearently available on ABS and other substrates. We're getting some etched stainless backsplash material for a display at my work, and I was checking out their website when I came across the info. For what it's worth---> http://www.advtechnology.com/mirroflex/vacuum.htm

I could see this reflective stuff being used for a Sith Trooper costume.
