Mentioning users with the @username

I wanted to post this for anyone who doesn't know this yet. I recently had someone mention me in a post and I thought, wow, thats awesome.

So I started to look into it and how to do it... I wasn't able to find anything here that helped but rather I found it by the vbulletin website.

if you type @username; it will link to the user profile and it will send them a notification they were mentioned.

So for instance... dday; will link to me and send me a notification.

The key is the @ and the ; at the end of the username.

There is no username list that pops up after typing @ you just have to know their full and properly spaced name.

You don't need the semi-colon, and no, it will not work with Michael's user name (he is special, unique, different, an anomaly).
