Hello,
I'm new to the forum but figured I would share my McCree Build progress and ask for some tips/suggestions
So back in May I had some parts commissioned for a McCree cosplay ,made a few parts and bought some others with a pretty decent result:
Now with October fast approaching I decided to bite the bullet and try using EVA foam to make the robotic arm. This is what I have so far:
I'm waiting for longer sheets of foam for the elbow joint and need a way to stop the glove inside slipping if possible...
I also would like to weather the serape but having bought it (and being unsure if I could make a new one from scratch in time) I'm unsure how to go about this as the bottom of the fabric is hemmed.
Also on my agenda is to make some chaps, which I have some faux leather and backing fabric but I don't think they'll have the rigidness they need so any suggestions?
I plan to re-cover the holster with the fake leather too as the material I used for that and the belt became super fluffy with wear. I imagine spray adhesive would be best?
Any other suggestions would be awesome, I'm currently looking at how to make the kneepad out of foam....this is all new to me so I'm relying on tutorials, trial and error and forums ^_^
