I'm already crying.
No doubt the funeral scene was taken from the real life dog, Hawkeye, at the funeral of the navy SEAL who raised him.

It's likely a pretty predictable paint-by-the-numbers drama (I could predict the entire plot off that trailer)... but damn it, I'm still a sucker for dog-stuff and I'll watch it and cry all over again.

that trailer kinda took a turn in the second half.

I could watch a movie about a boy dealing with a dog with post traumatic stress, in an attempt to deal with the loss of his brother...

But when it turns into "Go get em boy! The evil marine!"

"We gotta catch that dog! *twists mustache*"

I was in for the first half... bah to the second.
