I had this idea to convert those cheap airsofts to a more accuratish looking C96 sytlee with a little styrene sheet and some perspex ..what do you reckon very lightweight for trooping I thought and on the pocket .

Do you by chance know of a current source for the plastic airsoft Mauser? I remember seeing them around about year or two ago on the net, but since then all that's I've been able to find is the 100 some odd dollar all metal airsoft and a couple of dead links that lead to out of stock messages about the plastic version.

Yep i got mine from e-bay too from this guy in Germany (joes-plan-B) I am not sure if he ships to the US though :unsure but its worth asking as his shipping rates are cheaper than the others there.
