While cleaning the house I noticed that the polycarbonate blades on my Master replicas Force FX lightsabers have all discolored and turned yellow. I heard this happens to clear plastics over time. They have not had direct UV light and have been in my climate controlled house since the day they were purchased. Is there a way to reverse the yellowing i.e. peroxide, polishes, fine grit wet sanding, etc? Does anyone sell replacement polycarbonate blade tubes for these? What is the likelihood that the recent Hasbro sabers will also discolor over time?
