It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone – and while we want to take this opportunity to thank you for helping MR, we recognize that you’re not reading this to look back. I'm in on the Trooper, The Muppets, Trek Next Gen Tricorder so I can finally retire my Screen-Used one to the Vault, and maybe Pinnochio.

I wonder if the SS Red 5 is the same size as the Red 3 that I saw at the Boston Museum of Science exhibit. If it is, that thing is going to be monstrous. And it may be the first thing I ever had to buy from them...

I'm definitely interested in the Stormtrooper helmet. Wasn't there going to be one that was symmetrical and ones that were wonky like the screen used ones? Plus one has flat lenses and one has "hero" bubble lenses?

1) It's very clear that is not a complete list of the 2007 product line.
2) Just because a product doesn't make it into the 2007 product line, it is not necessarily cancelled.

Those helmets may be part of the 2007 line but simply not part of the annoincement. It may be that issues in design or production have delayed them to a later release. Yes it is also possible that they were cancelled, but why assume the worst for no reason?


Now then...
The only thing that interests me is the Studio Scale X-Wing, but given that their previous SS releases are WAY out of my price range... I don't see anything here to get excited about.

Were those YodasNews.com water-marked Master Replicas 2007 Product Preview photos bogus? They looked a little fishy. I thought the CE was done with? It mentioned a "Joe-Jedi" FX? Mara Jade & Kai-Adi Mundi Lightsaber CE versions. The Skywalker V2 LE. Sorry I don't have the link right now.

They were real, but it was stated repeatedly about them that not everything pictured would be produced. Thos images existed solely for MR to gauge interest in items they were considering, maybe doing. Amy point-blank stated that all of the items pictured would definitely NOT be produced.

In its current incarnation, the CE line is dead.

WOO-HOO. Had enough Star Wars stuff to choke a Bantha anyway for awhile. Bring on the new Trek items. Can't wait to see the TNG Tricorder.

The tricorder will be interesting to see.

I wonder how the Spiderman mask will be displayed? On a globe it'll look like someone lopped his head off. On a post it'll look like a red napkin.

I wonder how that Stormie helmet will turn out...

The only thing I'm going ga-ga over is the X-Wing SS, but alas, it will probably be way out of my price range.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a TPM Obi-Wan FX.

Will be really interesting to see how the Stormtrooper helmets do. Seems to me like the market is flooded with them but I suppose some people will buy them simply because they are licensed. Honestly, I am not sure what they could offer in this area that hasn't been offered before.

Cheap Helmet? FX and AA Battlespec
High End Helmet? Gino, TE, GF, AP, etc etc etc etc etc etc
Modified Reelscanned helmet? TE

Again, just not sure what they could offer that isn't already out there.

I hope that SS Xwing comes in an SE version. I'm definitely down for one.

The Spider-Man mask and TNG tricorder definitely have me interested. I just hope they follow through on these projects as I've seen many of these announced items that I was personally interested in fall by the wayside...
