I love the Iron Man armor builds I have seen. I'm tring a pepakura build as we speak but i'm curious has anyone ever done any other Marvel characters? ie: Juggernaut, a Sentinel, Galactus? So many to chose from that would look really cool but these are the first I thought of.

im a little over seeing 35 million of the same ironman armor builds, i would like to see something different too, even variations of im armor (like the ultimate, or the 1st appearance)

lol i've never heard of a "Lady" Deadpool. but plz post a pic if u have it. I'm a been a huge Marvel fan since I was 10. Cartoons and comics. If anyone else has Marvel costumes done post'em here too. If I had the intelligence to create a pepakura file I would but I wouldnt even know where to start. lol

Nothing wrong with it not being popular. I tried to convince my friend to do the Rocketeer one year and he didn't feel anyone would get it and so didn't do it. I think so long as the costume is well done and interesting, whether people 'get it' or not, it'll be a cool costume to everyone around. Also, rocking a costume that no one else is...epic. Next halloween Im either going as MODOK, Galactus or Bishop.

ROFL. Maybe we've been too gentlemanly lately. Your Deadpool is spectacular and if I may be so bold, disturbingly attractive for a masked character, but it's probably the playful poses and way you sell it.

OP: There haven't been a ton of Marvel characters that I can think of recently, lots of DC stuff, but if you search, they did some incredible Daredevil movie stuff a couple years ago. There are some great Wolverine's around as well.

I'm contemplating putting together a Bullseye. And there's always my favorite misfit, obscure villain Terrax.

She came out in January in Deadpool Merc With A Mouth #7. No-one at GenCon got it, except a few people, but what can you do?

Thanks. I love the costume and when they came out with a female version, I flipped. She is WAY too much fun to cosplay as at conventions.

I live in IL, and I've never been to San Diego. So far I've only worn it to the Superman Celebration in Metropolis and GenCon in Indianapolis, so I think you may have the wrong Lady D.

I had a Replica Spiderman 2 suit a while back, then I made a Symbiote suit of my own, and have been having the itch to make a good looking comic style suit, or re-attempt Iron Spiderman for that matter.

With Thor coming out soon, I was thinking about working on some replicas for my father. (He made a Thor costume when he was 7, it's still his favorite Marvel character though)

You're telling me. I saw a sketch from the artist way back in May of '09, and only recently had the money. She saw pics and flipped out. Even after I told her how long I had the idea, that I hadn't seen her pics until somewhere around February, and that I had my own differences from her costume (such as being more accurate) .... She didn't like that too much.

I love people who think they own the character and are the only ones to portray them. You'd think by know people would expect when a new character comes out, there is at least one person in each time zone trying to be the first to have that costume at a convention.
The only time I can buy into it, is if you put a unique twist that didn't come from media like a comic, etc.

I was the first in my time zone, though the one con I didn't wear it to had three other LDPs ... I was glad I didn't wear it. It made me laugh, though.

I didn't make mine. I bought it, but I altered it to make it slightly more accurate and I added the elements that I needed to make it Deadpool (holsters, guns, swords, belt buckle, etc)
