I was just watching MWC and, being a huge retro/80s fan, I love the wall clock that the Bundys have hanging by their basement door. I tried looking for some good shots of it, but came up really empty. Does anyone know the clock I'm talking about ? It's sort of a starburst shape, sort of like a 50s clock. I found several clocks that were similiar, but none of them had the same charm.

The clock is a Syroco. Syroco or Syroco-Wood (short for The Syracuse Ornamental Company) developed a process to make products that looked like wood but were actually made with wood pulp and fillers. The wood pulp was mixed with flour as a binder along with other materials to make it stronger. I found one of these at Goodwill a few years ago. The earlier ones like mine (and assuming the prop in the Bundy's living room) have an 8 day jeweled wind up movement (requires a key), later ones are battery powered.
