i think its neat but i dont think that all that many people would be interested in a statue of 'pre pro' art.
its unique, but id take a rotj vader vs luke over that any day

Yea. Saw that when the star wars fan club site announced it. I'm more into props than statues, but I'm definitely going to get it.

It's a Kotobukiya, so it's likely one of their hollow vinyl kits that needs a little assembly.

BTW I thought MR announced it was distro-ing Koto statues in the States... so is this one coming from MR perhaps?

I note the Yen price translates to something around $175...

If you like McQ, don't forget that Hasbro is doing some 3 3/4" action figures: re-issue Stormtrooper and Chewie (with the pointed ears).

Yeah, I think that will be my first Koto item. I don't like much of their stuff but this one is nice.... plus I am a HUGE McQuarrie fan.

Who's to say fans couldn't do it. The script is on the net. With enough fans , computers, and the talent out there i could see it happening. Look at the Star Trek movies on the net. Anythings possible. A person with a home computer can produce low budget stuff that rivals what the Big Studios make. I often have thought it would be neat to see RMQ's original designs brought to life. Maybe someone reading this can get the ball rolling. ALTERNATE STAR WARS anyone?

This Vader Suit is BEGGING to be made. With the amazing Helmet JRX has done, the rest shouldn´t be too hard on us, RPF´ers, or should it?

I don't think it would be hard to do at all.

Maybe someone should take the lead to make this happen. I'd love to take the lead but simply don't have the time to dedicate to it right now.
