Mandalorian helmets?

Where is everyone finding these great helmets? I’ve scoured ebay and the junkyard, but everything I find is already sold.

I don’t want to buy from Anovos since I actually like getting the product in a reasonable time.

Any recommendations on where to look?

US - Justin Branfuhr is doing casts of Darren Pattenden's (great ape studio arts) helmet which is widely regarded as the most accurate sculpt around

There are others also pulling casts in UK/Europe depending on where you are, Dean Harris in the UK (English Dragon)

You could get the Black Series Helmet.

What's your budget?

The Black Series helmet looks promising.

As was mentioned, the Great Apes file is the best fanmade model. I also ordered my kit from Branfuhr Studios. Jackson Rupert (Mr. Mold Maker here) is in my opinion the best painter of these helmets. I recommend contacting him once you have a kit.

A lot of people often recommend Jsin Props for $300. It's good for the price. But when you add his $60 finishing upgrade and shipping, you might as well go for a better $500 option.

The Anovos one comes up pretty often for sale. I got mine for $570 a couple of months ago.

Depending on your budget, the Bobamaker V2 looks like the best non licensed offering so far ( in my opinion) not cheap, it’s around $890!with the correct alumaluster paint. However there is a long waiting list.

Hubby and I also offer casts of the Great Ape helmet. Our company is J and K props.

Were you wanting a finished helmet or a raw cast?
The helmets on your Facebook look sick. Good work! Might be the direction I go

Little flexible on budget. Maybe around $500-600. Really depends on the quality of the cast or finish.

I would take a jsin props. I ordered one myself and i am currently waiting for the delivery, hopefully it won't take long. I haven't had it in my hands yet, but the pictures actually speak for jsin props. The helmet is also based on the best and most accurate files from GreatApeStudios (V2) so far.

The Jsin Props is not the Great Apes file. He had someone make the model for him. It is pretty close. The shape of the ear is a little off.

It's also VERY oversized. It could fit at least 26 inch head. It's bigger than the Anovos.

Left is Anovos, Jsin on right

hmmm ... sure? In one of his instagram posts he confirmed that the 3D files are from Darren (GreatApe) ... Maybe the size is just a little different?

Huh, I was going based off this comment. Also that it doesn't look like the Great Apes file, specifically how wide the ears look.

Here is our current offering from J and K Props. We are in the process of making a new master to create a new mold in order to correct the soft detail on the mowhawk.

This version is currently on a Black Friday sale till Monday for $100 USD plus shipping for a raw cast. here's a look at a raw pull:

Once we have the new mold made with the sharper mowhawk detail, we will be disusing this mold.

We are also working on this master of the Armourer's helmet, and it will be available soon as well. The main bucket is FDM printed, and the ears and back vent are SLA printed. Once this master is sanded and finsihed it will be molded with the ears and vent as part of the bucket as with the Din Jarin Bucket.

Also, Jsin's work is TOP NOTCH! You can't go wrong with him, either :)

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I will not be taking any more Din Djarin helmet kits.

If you want a finished helmet, Jsin is your man. LE Props does a nice kit, as does Branfurh. I believe Sean Bradley is working on a V2 soon and his castings are perfection. Lots of great options out there.
