Hey guys, I wanted to try this with my laser cutter and some manual old school skills...
this is how is working as now:
After making the pattern on my computer I sent it to my laser cutter. This was the outcome:
I then cut the back piece of the shield to host the bottom parts of the pattern.
Since the cutter cut the lines directly on the whole thing, I had to use tape to take parts out and transfer them onto the sintra back piece:
I then worked on the bevel of the top part of the emblem and then went on to attach the remaining part of the pattern onto the front part of the shield.
I had to take out all the excess parts of the emblem by hand even though the cutter did its job, I couldn't let parts of the pattern fall down...so I had to clean it all with a second step.
I then cut the outern part off a 5mm thick acrilic that I am going to bevel in the next days.
