Making tape glue marks

So my masking tape has left glue marks in the paint. How do I remove this? Or am I better off just masking off the metal parts and respraying?

Make sure the paint is dry and your hands super clean and gently rub it off. It has worked for me in the past...

Is it actually under a layer of paint or on the surface ?
Depending on what paint you used, a Q-tip moistened with rubbing alcohol, should take it off. Wait until the paint is dry.
Go easy on the alcohol and be gentle.

Glue marks 'on' the paint can be removed with a light solvent, but most solvents can burn/blush the paint. If it's in the paint, you'll have to wipe with solvent and start again.

I would try a pink pencil eraser first. I'm talking one not attached to a pencil which could scratch the paint (if the rubber bends and metal hits).
