I'm wondering if there's anywhere I can find information posted to custom make replacement lenses for some of my helmets and the process required (i.e. Vader, trooper and other character helmets.)
Anyone have any advice?
Initially I need to make amber replacement lenses for my concept Vader, but I realized it might be worthwhile doing replacements for a few of my helmets, and do them as two lenses on a long strip to be glued from behind a helmet instead of two individually cut lenses (to combat the recurring problem of a lens not being cut to exactly the right size and there being gaps around the edges and the endless problem dealing with the mess of adhesives or putties required to get the individual lenses in place ruining an otherwise perfect paint finish around the eyeholes or gunk scratching a clean lens).
