Making costumes with cardboard

So I want to get my own Iron man build under way and since I have a lot of cardboard at my disposal, I want to use that. Any tips on how I should get started? Well actually, how do you do it with cardboard? Are pep file pieces traced onto cardboard, cut and glued? Only theory I can think of

It's the same basic principle. I imagine you would use pep files that were designed to be built with foam just so you aren't doing ridiculous things that cardboard won't do without something looking wonky.

Since my printer cant feed cardstock, I was going to print out pep files on regular paper, then trace them on cardboard. Thought that might work

What I know is that people treat it like foam also, they use pep files converted into foam compatible templates, and yes they trace it on cardboard, cut then glue, then they resin/glass/filler/paint also.

And thats where I run into the problem I'm having. Most of this is pretty straignt forward, but how do you prepare a pep file for foam compatible templates?

Well then it looks like i'll have to find new Iron man mark 6 files. They're prepped for cardstock, not foam. Because i'm more of an indoor guy, Im going to use epoxy. Never hardened pep before. Stopped after folding. But i found some great tutorials so I think i got this. I just need to hunt down the right brand of epoxy resin and hardener

It is a pity that your printer can't feed cardstock, although Cardstock really is not that much heavier than standard paper.....

You may be able to use the carstock pep files, just turn off the "Show Flaps" under the 2d Menu options. That is what I'm doing for a few of my files on the warmachine that I'm building. (using card board as well)
