Making a RWBY Multi Action Dust Rapier and I need some help.

Greetings RPF, first time poster, long time lurker, only know of this place because of Adam and Tested.

I'm currently working on a replica sword from Monty Oum's anime series RWBY (MADR clips - YouTube )

This is a 3D model I made to visualize a bit easier how the Hilt is. imgur: the simple image sharer

I have most of the parts and can make the rest of them. The problem is I need the half sphere on the bottom. I live in the GTA (Canada) and need one exactly 88mm wide. I'm working on a vacuform machine to make one myself, but I don't know what kind of plastic to use or where to get it.

Does anyone know a good place in the GTA to get some or order some online (preferably in Canada to cut down on shipping costs/time).
Help my Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Does the dome section necessarily need to be hollow? You could try making a custom solid dome to your fit dimensions using bondo and webbing

I can't believe that RWBY hit the RPF, but I guess it isnt surprising.
