Making a latex appliance stay stuck on your sweaty face?

Greetings All!


The last time I wore some homemade latex appliances on my face (Jim Carrey Grinch costume), I had a big problem (after about 2 hours) keeping an entire side or two of the appliance stuck to my very sweaty face.

I believe I was using that ProsAide adhesive at the time.

Is there any BETTER adhesive? Or something I can use to make such a latex appliance stick on longer (other than green duck tape <grin!>)??
I'm sure part of the problem is, the parts that were disconnecting were on my cheeks / at the sides of my mouth... which was moving a lot.

Spirit gum, back in the 70’s I would sweat bullets through Planet Of The Ape appliances and that stuff held it on with NO problems.

It was what they used on the movies as well.
