This is my build of Max's Ford Falcon car from the first movie. It's a Road Warrior kit with a resin transkit alterations. the kit is the latest Aoshima release with the photoetch extras. I plan to use the left over upgrade parts to fix up my previously built Road Warrior Interceptor. The build went very well, except for the boot lid, which i had trouble with a hinge and making it fit.

Build Log:
I started with the chassis, which is weathered to reflect being a daily driven car

Dash

Supercharger

Interior
I found the interior on the new kit has been changed and doesn't fit the inner panels with the door cards (they have separate parts without the door cards). I pulled the interior from an older kit to provide those parts. repairing the rear seat and adding a new console to fix it up.

here's the new console test fitted.

and painted. note the cutout for the armrest

completed interior

Body work with interior inserted

I had massive problems with the boot hinges. I went through all my brass rod, it breaks if you unbend it. so i improvised with some styrene ones.

alignment issues with boot lid. Spare wheel only just fits.
