I've always loved Sensei Yokoyama-san's designs. I have his sketch book with many of his original designs that have inspired me.

Here's a subject I chose from Kow's sketch book.

I started out with these.

With construction completed and all primered. Next up will be painting it up. I'll glue the engine housing once I detail paint the engine area.

Any suggestions on a name for it?

Thanks J, it means a lot coming from such a Ma.K aficionado as yourself.

I have no idea what Ma.k is but that is a seriously great piece of work there, nicely done and like Rich said very clean :thumbsup

I'm amazed at how clean the build is. You guys and your scratchbuilding just amaze me. Awesome work. 'Look forward to seeing the finished piece!

Those that are interested in what Ma.K ( Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000) is, can read a little of how it came to be here.

The satellite sketch came from this sketch book by the Ma.K creator, Kow Yokoyama.

There's some pretty cool designs in that book.

Super sweet.
That's a beautiful build up
I didn't know what Ma. K was, but now I want to

pretty little build, for sure.
but i have to ask.
did i see a saturn V cone (the "end" of the two pods for the tie bomber) piece in there? if so, was that a just casting?

if so...
i like this little guy (a lot),
but seems a bit ...wasteful? to put such a prized little nugget into a little know model..?

am i over-reacting?

Yes, there's a Saturn V cone but it's a casting.

Finished up the Satellite. I haven't decided whether to attach the engine shroud yet so it's only loosely placed in some of the pictures. Many of the decal art including the Razorback were done by myself.

You did an incredible job on this one Ro', and the painting is just as perfect as the build itself.

I love the subtle weathering, kudos !

The weathering is so beautiful, a couple of those photos look like paintings. I love it.

WOW:eek Awesome work, and thanks for introducing me to something new. Had no idea about your reference until now, and am eagerly awaiting a copy of the book now from Amazon:love
