Even if it's plastic (which I think it is) it looks goodCurious to know if the stand is real brass or plastic
Any idea where to get it for $40 online? Everywhere I'm seeing is $65-80Looks real good...for $40![]()

Yeah I saw, shame those prices get inflated by over double online. Still might be worth it though hmmIt’s currently only being sold for $40 in the parks.

For those of us with some painting skills, how nice would it look with a complete repaint, some weathering, washes, or even upgrades etc? Less toy like?Picked one of these up and answered my own question…the stand does appear to be metal.

My overall impressions?
It’s nice for the price walking out the door at Disney Parks but it is certainly very “toy-like” (visible screws, some parts made of rubber for child safety, visible seams, soft details) and won’t scratch the itch like, say, the Jason Eaton kit available at Masterpiece Models (which I’ll be salvaging the metal stand from this Skyhopper for).
But, as an in-universe toy, it fits that bill nicely.
