You know the old saying though, all publicity is good publicity.
im very much hoping that Dan will Join us soon, i actually believe he works in the Movie industry as what though im not sure, but errrrrrrrrrrrr he has been invited![]()
He's probably loving all the free press he's getting and it's probably bringing him a fair amount of business despite it's negative tones.

Well its nice to hear from you Dan, but I`m afraid I don`t know you or have ever heard of you. I see from your e mail today that you are the son of Liz Moore and worked in the Plaster Shop at Shepperton Studios ( is that correct)[/B]
Dan Dickenson
I am the son of liz, no I didn't work in the plaster shop.
She did most of her work at home...I'm concerned that you feel you have ownership over her sculpture of the stormtrooper?
I would like to meet you to discuss this, as I feel you might... be able to tell me otherwise?
I live in Richmond and know the Twickenham green well...

Dan, call in anytime but best to ring before...and I will sift out the evidence for you.
Art, I understand where you are coming from but, after reading the FB page, it really seems that no amount of proof will sway his supporters. Plus, like someone else mentioned, every time something is brought up to dispute AA, more supporters seem to pop up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying stop putting the truth out there. It's definitely a battle worth fighting.

I would never suggest we try to take Andrew head on, especially not on his own Facebook page where he has the ability to delete at a whim. IN such cases:
"You can't win, but there are alternatives to fighting." ―Obi-Wan Kenobi
Again, it would take a group effort, but the ultimate question is what is trying to be achieved? Is the focus on trying to diminish Andrew's sales or is the focus about making the truth known to those who either don't know the score or might care about preserving the real history? Personally, it doesn't matter that much to me, but I am just pointing out that if we amassed, we can be a force to be reckoned with online and we could do things, as a community, to help ensure that the truth is out there and known. We have little ability to affect Andrew's sales, but from reading this thread it seems that the focus was more about preserving history than about trying to damage Andrew's sales. The decision would ultimately be that of the community, but if we wanted to do something, the site would support it. I leave it in your hands.
This is a quest for the truth for me and to prevent potential buyers from being duped by sales talk. To go into a sale with open eyes, so to speak. I'm not here to shut AA down or prevent him from selling. I'm only here to help give credit to the real artists and advise new buyers before jumping into a sale.
He'd still probably sell loads of helmets and armor, even if he let go of the claims that he sculpted the pieces or any of the other outlandish claims - he still IS the guy forming the armor back then and that's enough for some people.
