Looking to acquire Back to the future 2 jacket, options/opinions?

What are people's thought on this? https://www.falyon.com/product/sdj-02-metallic-silver/ it really does "self-dry" can this be modded to include sound?

Sure. You could mod anything for sound. I would not buy it for BTTF2 costume though. It only superficially resembles the movie jacket.

There are a bunch of replicas of the BTTF2 jacket out there already. And they will have the sleeves like the movie jacket.

Yeah you are right, one day I want to have a movie accurate jacket with sound, self-drying and auto adjust....a boy can dream....

Hey Mitas it's me. Not sure if you got my message on Amazon but ran out of latex so have to order more. I'll let you know when I get some in to do a sheet for you if you want. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes I understand. As long is it's quality material I don't mind waiting a little longer.

Just got the new HC jacket. The only new thing I can add, atm, is that the sleeves are very itchy. I might have to stick with my other jacket if the sensation doesn't stop.

I wore mine for about 20 minutes with friends and I didn't feel any itching. That's quite odd.

I had a family member feel around in the sleeve and they felt it too.

It could be that black ribbed material they used for the cuffs. They should have just used some sort of normal ribbing. For some reason they were really intent on making lots of parts of this jacket from fused plastic fibers.

Yes it could be the cuffs. But if you plan on modifying the jacket to the degree that I am then that won't be a problem since they will be removed.

Haha phew! You scared me xD! Fiberglass fabric does exist though :p What is the lining made of then?

The liner is a synthetic fabric, probably 100% polyester. And the filler is probably just poly-fil or something like it.

The itchiness likely comes from the black ribbing. It's very much like the backside of velcro.

Does anyone know the contact info for people that sell replicas of the jacket? and how much they cost? My price limit is around $200. Thanks!
