Looking for Robocop info

I had the idea for a project last night and I was wondering if there have been any drawings made of how much organic material is left of Murphys head/skull, like an x-ray? Or has it ever been described in text? Outside of the movies, I'm afraid I don't know that much about the Robocop universe.

Also, does anyone have a good source for the helmet he wears? I checked out eBay and found a handful of supposedly 1:1 kits, but they are all from Thailand, so I think it's safe to assume they are probably recasts and not 1:1 scale.

Second... in terms of resources for his helmet - What kind of references are you going for?

Many people, including myself have Bruce Hansing's robocop suit and armor. There is another set of armor coming around that's very sharp and crisp, I can find you some pics of that if you want...

Plus, there were one or two kits of just robocop's head made by a member here I think.

Yes, I'm mainly looking for the head/helmet with the jaw and helmet backing.

From what I've seen, Anticlaus makes the best helmet kit. The proportions seem to be very close to Robocop 2 and the detail is immaculate. PM if you want info.

I'm currently sculpting a mouth piece section specifically for this kit. But, as you can see, it's still in it's infancy (juggling alot of projects ATM).

Ummm...no it isn't. I've sculpted the mouth section out from scratch out of Apoxie sculpt with screen caps from the movies as reference.

Yea - it's not a recast or anything... definitely not. There's 64 pages worth of progess pics and work done to this suit and helmet.

So there's definitely no chance that this is a recast of anyone's work here.

Oh, no wonder. When you said "bottom half", I automatically assumed you were referring to my work. But yeah, it does look similiar to Mutronics bottom area.
