Looking for ORCA plans

I'm looking for something like a blueprint or plan preferably downloadable for the Orca from Jaws.
I've heard that the plans that you see on ebay are pretty bad but I was wondering if any of you boat buffs out there know if it was built (the actual boat) from a standard pattern hull or was it a custom job?
I figured if I can just get the accurate hull sizing and measurements I can figure out the rest.

That's a thread that really inspired me to have a go. Unfortunately I've tried to join that site several times and got absoluteley nowhere. He never mentions plans though.

Ok the ones mark Model Boat Plan: MAR2463 are the ones they sell in ebay, these are the ones you don’t want.

The best ones are from the link:

They are not MAR2463.
These plans were drawn by PAT TRITLE. With these plans, a copy of the JAWS 30th Anniversary Edition DVD, some added wood and lots of patience I should end up with a very nice model of the The Orca.

From this link click on 35” Orca from Jaws it will take you to a forum Build thread and to the forum.

Well I used to work for the national maritime museum and I was out there the other week. I may pop into their plan rooms and see what I can find. Failing that I have some plans for 13 ton 35 foot Nova Scotian lobster boat hulls that look a good match. I'll guve tham a go tomorrow and I'll post the plans here for free if they work out.

The Orca was originally a boat called The Warlock. From memory, they opened the cabin up a bit (so it had large windows where you could see the horizon), extended the transom, but the boat remained the same. Joe Alves headed this project up.

They made blueprints up so they could replicate one out of fiberglass for sinking. That was the Orca II, obviously. But yeah, there are blueprints floating 'round. The SST "angry seal" Bruce came with some, too.

Failing all that, you could drop Joe Alves a line.

that scratch build on illuminati is amazing. Now its got my interest piqued. A few years back i bought the small scale version Orca i think it was one of those movie maniacs displays. Looking back though and comparing it to the scratch build, the movie maniacs was inaccurate. I love the detail with the small bottles and the radio. I want to know where he got that stuff. My jaw is still on the floor.
