Looking for leather fabric

Hey

Can anyone point me in the right direction on finding a leather like material that could be used for making 12" figure clothing/jackets.

Real leather (at least the stuff at Michaels or the fabric stores I've been too) is thick compared to the stuff I have seen on my Medicom Rocketeer and similar.

I need black for a cape.

Try pleather or naugahide, both are avaliable at fabric stores.

This may help though it is a tutorial for smaller figs I think the same technique could work for you.
