Looking for DH-17 blaster made in metal.

Hey!

Wondering where i might find a maker of this fine blaster the DH-17 blaster.
That makes them in metal parts, want to have that authentic feeling to it. The weight of it, im going to make a fleet trooper someday. But i feel it could be fun to have the blaster on display for now.

So if you or know anyone that makes them and have the weight to it. Then please give me a link to there page or where i can find them on this forum.

So, to be fair; a lot of the original "authentic" ones in the films (at least in ANH) were resin casts. You can also add a proper weight to a prop weapon, simply by including weights, or heavy powders (I forget what most folks tend to use, it's heavy metal powder, so it doesn't make rattling sounds like many small weights would).

That said, I saw a guy making one from mostly metal and hardware store buys within the last 2-3 weeks. his thread should be in the first couple of pages of this sub forum.

you could buy an airsoft Sterling and cut it down / add machined aluminum parts.
