Looking For A Web Site That Sells Model Parts

Hello all,
Some years back I had a web site in my Favs that sold parts to models.
If I remember correctly it was a site that was frequented by model builders who would sell, trade or give parts back an forth.
I had won a Star Wars Star Destroyer that was missing one of the smaller roof sections. All I did was to name the kit and the part number and if someone had that part they would contact you. So I managed to complete the kit.
Due to re-formats done to my PC I have lost that site and am unable to locate it, if it still exists! Has anyone here ever heard of it and do you know it's address?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello again,
The reason I am looking for this site is because I just sold the Star Trek USS Enterprise-A Refit 1/350 Scale model released by Polar Lights a few years ago.
It appears that I mistakenly thought all the parts were there even after doing a check. It was sold "as is" but I figured if I can find this site again it would help me out. The new owner states that the part missing is number 16 which he needs to do the Motion Picture version. He said he would send a scan of the instructions that shows the missing part but I have yet to receive it.
It has also occurred to me that someone on this board who may have built the refit version may have this part sitting in their spare parts box. If so and you would like to sell it please let me know and we can work out an arrangement!
Many thanks, Petseal

part #16 is a workerbee and there are 6 of them so don't seem crucial.

It's more likely he's missing 65 or 66 which are the alternate parts from around the deflector. 65 for TMP version and 66 for 1701-A

Petseal,
I believe that the site you are looking for is the "Official Parts Yard" run by J.M.Perreault and M.Leclerc.
The URL is (was) Page d'accueil, but it doesn't seem to be active any more.
A jmarcpe has been active requesting 1/48 scale kits on a few of the modelling forums, such as Hyperscale recently, I assume it's the same guy? There is a French Canadian connection.
For example
Plane Trading - HyperScale Buy, Swap and Sell Forum: I'm looking for these 1/48 kits !

Perhaps you could email him and see what goes.

BTW I have no connection at all with the guy, I just happen to remember the parts site and remembered his name.
Good luck,
JT

Thanks b26354 for the input!
It appears I bad again as I went by memory (first thing to go?) instead of checking the email send by the auction winner. He is not looking for part 16 but, and I quote, "I'm looking for part 27 in the kit - the bottom section of the lower engineering hull. It seems that I only have part 26. This limits me to the A version of the build".
He also mentions that it could be part 24 as part 26 looks the same on the sheet.
I would be grateful to you if you wouldn't mind posting a scan from that part of the instructions just so I know what he is referring to. As yet he has not sent the scan as promised.

Thanks to you too Rats!
I will be looking into the info you posted and will post what I find in case anyone else is interested!

Thanks guys! Your time and efforts are very much appreciated!

The only difference between the 26 and 27 is extra engraved panel lines at the back of 26 (under the shuttle bay) and a rectangular recessed panel on the starboard side - 5 minutes with some filler and sandpaper would make both parts identical :)

Well it appears that old age is rapidly catching up on me! :cry
When I first bought the model I was missing part #24 and part #25 was deformed, plastic didn't quite reach the end of the mold. So I contacted Polar Lights and they sent me replacement parts so now my kit was whole and complete. :lol :thumbsup
When I listed the model on eBay I did a check, of all the kits listed, to try and insure that all was present. Good so far. :thumbsup :thumbsup
Then I stated getting requests for shipping quotes. So not realizing what I had done I removed the extra "UNNEEDED" parts, weighed it all up and sent out the quotes. Again, I thought, good so far. :confused
Well as it turns out there are TWO belly pieces to the lower hull. One is #26 and, you guessed it, the other is #27 - which is sitting in front of me as I type this out! :cry

b26354 I am assuming (bad word) that part #26 has no scribed lines?

So now I will have to send these parts off to the winner, who is being real good about this.
So I thank everyone who tried to help me with this! Your help and guidance was most appreciated!

PS; yes Rats that is the web site I used to use. Unfortunately it appears to be kaput. To bad as it was great for finding odd parts. :confused

26 is on the left - with lines under the shuttle bay - also note the rectangular recess on the left side of 26 right at the top of the pic.
